Your gift will support diverse and unique scholarly opportunities for students and faculty in both the sciences and humanities.

Our UMass Boston Nantucket Field Station is found in a world-class location of unique cultural and conserved natural resources. Similar to study abroad programs, students travel to stay for courses, internships and other immersive experiences, including archeological, ecological, environmental, and climate change studies. 

We have a legacy of impactful engagement with many community partners and visiting researchers including the Town of Nantucket Department of Natural Resources, Nantucket Historical Association, the Museum of African American History, the Nantucket Conservation Foundation, Massachusetts Audubon, Nantucket Land Council, and the Trustees of Reservations.

Gifts to our program facilitate use, increase access, and grow programing at our facility for our students and communities in Boston and Nantucket.
