The Transgender Youth Advocacy trip focuses on transgender identity, experiences, and allyship. We encourage everyone - participants of this trip and beyond -  to learn the truth about what it means to be transgender. We will learn about historical and present societal discrimination, prejudice, challenges, and triumphs of the transgender community. Participants will be encouraged to challenge their idea of gender and the limitations of gender roles.
